Study Background For years, we have known that physical activity is good for our health, but until this point, there isn't a clear understanding of what's happening deep inside the body to trigger these positive effects. The Molecular Transducers of Physical Activity Consortium (MoTrPAC) is an NIH-funded research program that aims to gain a better understanding of how exercise improves health at the molecular level. The goal of our study is to measure the changes that occur during and after exercise to create better, more personalized physical activity interventions in the future.
