Researchers at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center working with Stephen Juraschek, MD, PhD are conducting a study to investigate if healthy groceries lower blood pressure in Black adults. Please read the information below about the study. Then, you can choose to respond to the questions in this survey to see if you qualify. If you do, we will share your contact information with the research team so that they can contact you about next steps for participating in this research study.

Should you choose to join the study, you must commit to all 12 weeks of the intervention plus a 9-month observation period. All participants will need to come to our Clinical Research Center (off Longwood Avenue in Boston) for in-person survey questions, physical measurements like blood pressure and weight, and blood draws. There may be up to 7 in-person study visits. If you qualify to participate you may receive fresh groceries delivered to your door for free OR $500 every month for three months.
