Study Background The WeCareAdvisor is an innovative tool developed by researchers at Drexel University and the University of California, Davis to help family caregivers manage common symptoms of dementia like anger, irritability, asking repeated questions, pacing, or refusing to need help. The WeCareAdvisor walks caregivers through a step-by-step approach to help understand why behaviors may occur and provides customized strategies to manage behaviors. The goal of this study is to test an online tool created to help caregivers manage common behavioral and psychological symptoms of dementia.
You may qualify for this study if you meet the following criteria.

- 21 years or older
- Primary caregiver of a person living with dementia or memory loss for at least 6 months
- Currently managing challenging dementia-related behaviors or psychological symptoms
- Own and are comfortable using a computer, smartphone, or tablet
- Have internet access
All study activities are conducted remotely. If you decide to participate in this study, you will have access to the WeCareAdvisor tool for either 3 or 6 months during the study. You will also be asked to complete 4 telephone interviews and one post-study survey.
Compensation is provided for completing this study.
