Study Background This clinical trial aims to see if a dietary supplement, phosphatidylserine (PS), can affect blood vessel function in individuals with type 2 diabetes. Neither this supplement nor this clinical trial is meant to treat your diabetes. We are investigating the effects of phosphatidylserine on vascular function. If you choose to participate in the study, it will not interfere with the clinical treatment of your type-2 diabetes. Further research on vascular health and join our compensated study today! |

The purpose of this clinical trials is to see if a dietary supplement, phosphatidylserine
(PS), can affect blood vessel function in individuals with type-2 diabetes.

You may qualify for this study if you meet the following criteria.
Inclusion Criteria:
Inclusion Criteria:
- Diagnosed with type-2 diabetes
- Between 45-64 years old
- BMI between 25-39 kg/m2
- Cardiovascular disease, including myocardial infarction, heart failure, coronary artery disease, stroke
- History of chronic renal or hepatic disease
- Active cancer
- Autoimmune diseases
- Immunosuppressant therapy
- Hormone replacement therapy
- Excessive alcohol consumption
- Current tobacco use
- Pregnancy
- Significant weight change within the last 6 months
If enrolled, the study will involve:
- a one-hour screening visit
- a 30-minute equipment fitting
- an eight-hour assessment
- 4 weeks of home supplement/placebo administration
- a second 30-minute equipment fitting
- a final eight-hour assessment
Compensation up to $600 is provided for your participation.
