Study Background
Our researchers want to learn more about treating chronic spinal pain.
The purpose of this double-blind research study is to see how safe and effective cannabidiol (CBD) is for the treatment of chronic non-cancer spinal radiculopathic pain conditions in people maintained on an ongoing dose of opioid pain medications. We will assess the effects of CBD on pain, opioid medication use, as well as aspects of thinking, emotions, and behavior.
Participation in this study may help deepen our current understanding of CBD and enable future development of alternative treatments. Further research and join our paid study today!

Additional Information
The purpose of this trial is to study whether daily administration of CBD (versus
placebo) for 2 weeks can help pain in people suffering from chronic spinal radicular
(i.e., pinched nerve in spinal cord) pain conditions, who are maintained on opioid pain
medications.

You may qualify for this study if you meet the following criteria.

Inclusion Criteria:
- 18+ Years Old
- Diagnosis of radicular chronic non-cancer pain
- Maintained on stable dose of opioid therapy for a minimum of 1 month
- Able to provide voluntary informed consent
- If able to become pregnant, willing to use approved form of contraception from the time of screening through the duration of the trial
Exclusion Criteria:
- Severe psychiatric conditions
- Current substance use disorders other than nicotine or caffeine
- Current use of cannabis or any product containing CBD
- Pregnant or nursing
Participation involves a screening, baseline, and 4 treatment assessment visits.

- Medical and psychological assessments
- Safety and Laboratory assessments (including blood and urine testing)
- Electrocardiogram (ECG)
- Pharmacologic assessments
Participants will be compensated up to $400.
