Study Background
We are studying vision development in normal children using eye tracking, which involves looking at pictures and videos on a computer monitor while a special camera records the direction of eye movements. We are looking for typically developing children to help us understand normal eye-tracking behavior.

Additional Information
We are conducting a study to learn how vision develops in normal children. These children will be used as a comparison group to children with cortical visual impairment (CVI). We are looking for children who do not have CVI to help us make accurate comparisons.
Your child may qualify to participate in this study if they meet the following criteria.
Inclusion Criteria:

- Age 12 months to 12 years
- No eye condition other than glasses or contact lenses
- Typical development with no neurologic disease, autism, or attention deficit.
- Prematurity (less than 37 weeks gestational age)
- Not English- or Spanish-speaking
If eligible, participation will involve one study visit with 3 parts:
1) Brief eye exam to check visual acuity and confirm normal eye anatomy,
2) Questionnaire to assess vision-specific quality of life,
3) Eye tracking: children watch a video on a computer monitor for 12 minutes while a special camera records direction of eye movements.
The entire study visit will last approximately 1 hour.

Eligible participants can receive a $50 gift card. Parking validation is also provided.
