Study Background
UCSD researchers are studying an investigational medication called guselkumab for patients with alcoholic liver disease. This drug is currently approved for use in psoriatic arthritis but not for alcoholic liver disease. In this study, investigators aim to assess the safety of the research treatment in those with alcoholic liver disease. If you have a current alcohol use disorder (see Is This Study For Me?), you may qualify to enroll.

Your participation in this study could lead to better treatments for alcohol-associated liver disease in the future. Join our compensated research study today.
