Study Background Approximately 50% of young adults who drink alcohol experience alcohol-induced "blackouts," defined as permanent or temporary memory loss for events that occurred while they are drinking. Unfortunately, many unwanted consequences of drinking also occur during blackouts, like unwanted sexual encounters and emergency room visits. This research study aims to prevent harm among young adults who have experienced blackouts. The research team developed an online "Drinking Dashboard" designed to help you identify when you are most likely to experience a blackout - and how to avoid it, if you want. Your part of the study will consist of online surveys and can be completed from anywhere in the United States.
