Researchers at the City University of New York want to learn more about how language develops in children 4-5 years old.
Our study is designed as an interactive game where your child will talk to a stuffy about animals or everyday objects. It involves one short 10-15 minute Zoom call. We've designed this study to be fun, convenient, and safe!

Our study will evaluate how language develops during childhood.
Your child may qualify for this study if he/she meets the following criteria.

- Between 4 and 5 years old
- English is your child's primary language
- Has not been diagnosed with any developmental or language delays
Our study is fun! It is designed as a game where your child talks about animals or everyday objects with our stuffy friend. It is not stressful.
Our study is convenient! There’s one 10-15 minute Zoom call and a short written survey about your child’s language use.
Our study is safe! Our research is overseen and reviewed by the CUNY Institutional Review Board, and we welcome you to be present during the study.
