About this research study:
McLean Hospital researchers are conducting a research study to understand how depression affects brain activity in women.
You are not alone in your fight against depression. Over 17 million people experience depression every year and is more common in women than men.

We believe that based on certain elements during your depression, there are different areas of your brain that are affected which may impair your everyday functions. Our study will investigate the affects in women who experience current depression and have no prior experiences with abuse. We hope to identify ways to predict how depressive thoughts will affect your brain.
