About Our Research Study
Our study evaluates a new treatment method for symptoms found in patients with obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) and Tourette’s Syndrome and Tic Disorders (TD).

Both OCD and Tourette’s/Tic Disorder are long-lasting chronic conditions that cause individuals to perform unwanted behaviors. Researchers are studying the use of ondansetron as a potential treatment option for both of these conditions. Ondansetron is currently commonly used to treat nausea.

Our research will help us understand how this FDA-approved medication may work in reducing symptoms of these disorders. Participants will receive multiple fMRI scans, in-person visits with medical professionals, and phone calls.
