About Our Research Study
Individuals who have been diagnosed with Schizophrenia or Schizoaffective Disorder are invited to participate in our research study. Researchers at the University of Maryland Baltimore want to learn more about how attention, concentration, memory, and problem-solving impact brain function. Help our researchers better develop better treatments for schizophrenia. Eligible participants will be compensated up to $450! |

The purpose of this study is to find better treatments for individuals living with schizophrenia.
You may qualify for this study if you meet the following criteria.

Eligibility Criteria:
- 18 - 61 years old
- Diagnosed with schizophrenia or schizoaffective disorder
- No history of significant head injury or neurological disease
- Stable medications OR not currently on any medication
Participation will involve 5 sessions that are approximately 2.5 hours each. Sessions include Clinical Symptoms Interview, Drug Screening, Learning, and Decision Making Tests.
You will be paid $375 for completing the study. In addition, you are able to earn bonus money in two of the sessions, up to a total of $50. If you complete all 5 sessions, you will be paid an additional $75.
There is no cost for you to participate in our research program.
