Bipolar disorder affects about 2% of the world’s population, with subthreshold forms affecting another 2%. Despite advances in the treatment of Bipolar Disorder, a lot of patients relapse into depression or mania within 1 - 2 years.
Our researchers want to find better treatments for individuals with bipolar disorder.
Our study will provide insights on treatment strategies to prevent mood episodes and identify biomarkers able to monitor antidepressant response in Bipolar Disorder.
